Chickens September 9, 2008
Cinnamon and Rosemary are doing well. As you can see, Cinnamon is larger than Rosemary and has a larger comb and wattles– however her spurs are not very large and her tail is not noticeably longer. Though she is noisy she is not crowing. Hopefully it stays that way because we do love our chickens.
Schoolness. September 9, 2008
Naomi has started Kindergarden, Jonah has started 2nd grade and I have begun my “junior” year at UNC. Soccer season began last week and Ado is on his first soccer team, Abracadabra. This month has been a whirlwind with supply getting, nanny hiring, nanny rehiring, soccer practices, homework, study groups and a cough/cold going around thanks to Naomi’s new class.
- Outside of the Morehead Planetarium on campus before our back-to-school haircuts.
- Picnicking in the yard.
- Enjoying a snack at Target while shopping for school supplies.
- Naomi’s new teacher: Ms. Slotta.
- Naomi’s first day of school.
- Naomi will miss her little brother.
